Join Max Meyers, program coordinator at Leach Botanical Garden, and Sara Volk from Johnson Creek Watershed Council for a guided garden tour in American Sign Language (ASL). See our amazing botanical collection, learn about the Garden’s history, and experience the wonder of Portland’s special ecosystems. This tour is open to anyone who uses ASL, especially Deaf visitors and their families.

The tour will be in ASL, and there won't be any English translation. Max is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) who grew up in Eugene, Oregon, with a mix of ASL, PSE, and English.

After the tour, Johnson Creek Watershed Council will provide light drinks and snacks, and we'll have a shady spot to sit and chat.

Registration required! The tour is free with garden admission. There are limited spots, so please reserve your spot by purchasing admission below. If the cost of admission is a problem for you, please email Max at mmeyers@leachgarden.org to ask for free admission through our Garden for All program.
