Come help us catalog the Back 5 plant communities!
We’ll be documenting what plants exist in the Back 5 to get
a better understanding of what plants we’ll need to prioritize for future
planting.
Participants will learn about our native and non-native
plant communities, gain some plant ID skills/practice, and practice reciprocity
by helping fall planning efforts. No experience required.
The Back 5 is a wild habitat with steep and uneven paths,
stinging nettle, and insects. Wear closed-toed hiking shoes. If useful, bring
walking sticks. This event may not be appropriate for young children. Children
under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
